Regulations of the Istituto Marcelline:Guests must remember that, while it has progressively developed into a standard hotel structure, the Istituto Marcelline is traditionally a boarding school/university hostel managed by a religious order. Therefore, guests are asked to be particularly respectful of the Istituto’s rules and regulations. Guests should ensure that they are aware of any eventual Istituto schedules (i.e., for gate closing times, breakfast hours, etc.).
How to reach the venue from the Istituto Marcelline by public means of transportation:
The hospice is located west of the venue of the meeting .Outside the Institute, turn right and walk towards the sea all the way down Via Zara and through the first intersection with the stoplight (Via P. Gobbetti)/Via C.N. Rossetti) to the wide two-lane road running along the seaside (Corso Italia). Cross Corso Italia and, still facing the sea, proceed to your left until you reach a bus stop. Take the first bus – line number 31 (the only line that circulates on Corso Italia) and ask the driver (or another passenger) to indicate the bus stop in Piazza Sturla. Here you must wait for another bus, Here you must wait for another bus, number 513, which will make a stop immediately after a large ESSO service station. Once off the bus, turn to your left and continue until you will reach Via Antica Romana della Castagna. The Badia Benedettina is located another 100 meters straight on, and will be clearly marked as venue of the meeting.
IMPORTANT: because total time needed to reach the Badia Benedettina from Istituto Marcelline is approximately 30 – 40 minutes, please calculate accordingly.
