Course venues
Lectures and discussions will be held at the recently renovated Villa Quartara, Badia della Castagna in Genova Quarto, located within walking distance of the Giannina Gaslini Children's Teaching Hospital.

Course Materials
Copies of the presentations will be distributed to participants prior to lessons or on a day-by-day basis.
The CD-Rom compiling all presentations, together with complementary materials, will be sent to participants once completed after the course.

Course Language
All lectures, discussion sessions and materials will be in English. Applicants should therefore possess a very good working knowledge of the language in order to benefit from the course.

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Accreditation
Accreditation will be required for Medical Doctor, geneticists, biologists and technicians. The number of credits awarded will be published on the course website as soon as they become available.

Accommodations and subsistence
The fee covers tuition, 3 light working lunches, 4 refreshment breaks, certificate of attendance, book of abstract.
Fellowship covers in addition 3 nights bed & breakfast accommodations in double room in a student dormitory facility located in Genova Nervi.
Fellowship holders wishing to upgrade to hotel standard accommodations will be able to do so, but will be asked to cover the difference in cost (approximately 80.00 US$ per night).

Local Transportation
For purposes of local transportation, course participants can purchase bus tickets (€ 1,20 each for 90’ ride), that permits travel on metropolitan mass transit routes, including many local trains.

Insurance
While on premises where course sessions are held participants will be covered for personal liability insurance by the standing policy of the Giannina Gaslini Children's Research Hospital. Medical coverage will not be provided.
Participants should therefore be prepared with their own form of personal insurance (especially for medical purposes) in order to guarantee coverage when and where the Gaslini Hospital policy is not effective (i.e., while off course premises on evenings…).

Travel Arrangements
Participants must provide for their travel at their own expenses.
